USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Spray the product all over the body, wait for it to dry, apply the spray several times to achieve full coverage, and then spread it with your hand. Reapply frequently throughout the day and if exposed directly to the sun. Do not spray directly on the face; apply it to your hand first and then spread it over the face.

Both formulas protect against UVB rays, which are responsible for sunburn, and UVA rays, which are largely responsible for skin aging. In fact, both perform outstandingly in the UVA range: far exceeding the EU standard of 1/3, close to the SPF. However, the Dermatologist SPF50 cream sunscreen has a Boots rating of 5 stars, meaning above-average UVA protection with a PPD of 54, while the spray format has a Boots rating of 3 stars and a PPD of 39. Both filter 98% of UVB filters. If you have issues with hyperpigmentation spots, we recommend choosing the Dermatologist SPF50 sunscreen year-round; if you do not have this problem, then the Dermatologist SPF 50 spray sunscreen will be a great choice. The SPF 50 lotion has a light texture, and the SPF 50 spray is completely lightweight, providing an invisible finish.

Do I have to reapply every few hours?

What you should know: An SPF 50 sunscreen, if used in the morning in sufficient amounts (let's say half or more of a tablespoon for face and neck) and your daily life consists of going from home to the office, will provide you with an adequate amount of protection all day. Otherwise, according to the official recommendation of the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration), sunscreens should be reapplied every two hours if you are constantly exposed to the sun. If you use this product at the beach, you definitely should reapply it every few hours.

Is it suitable for skin with rosacea?

With rosacea-prone skin, unfortunately, it is difficult to know things for certain in advance. But you should know that this is a chemical (organic) sunscreen with commonly used UV filters, and it contains alcohol to make its texture imperceptible, so we recommend EVY foams with a higher proportion of mineral/inorganic sunscreens or new generation filters for your skin.

I have problematic skin (often with acne and oiliness), can I use it as well?

Yes, feel free to try it :) The Altruist SPF 50 spray sunscreen has a texture as light as water, it is not heavy or sticky and does not cause a greasy feeling. Also, it does not clog pores, so it can be part of your routine.

My skin is dry. Could it be good for me?

Yes, it’s even a great choice! Altruist SPF 50 spray is a formula that offers a wide range of protection, which we personally love because it provides superior protection compared to the usual UVA range. Being a spray format, it will not hydrate or nourish; we recommend applying a moisturizer beforehand for that purpose.
