ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
- Salicylic Acid 2%: It is a BHA derived from willow bark. It cleans the pores (it is capable of dissolving oils) and unclogs them. Additionally, due to its exfoliating action, it removes accumulated dead skin cells, making it ideal for preventing the appearance of pimples (acne) and comedones (blackheads).
- Mandelic acid: Alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) chemical exfoliant: Evens out skin tone and texture, provides radiance, and has an anti-aging effect by increasing the skin's collagen and hyaluronic acid levels. It balances the microbiota and improves the appearance of acne-prone skin. It is well tolerated by sensitive skin.
- Citric acid: It comes from various fruits (citrus such as orange, lemon), and is characterized by its antioxidant action. It brightens and lightens spots.
- Phytic acid: Antioxidant. Regulates sebum production and improves skin radiance. Enhances the appearance of enlarged pores, prevents the formation of blackheads, and benefits oily and/or acne-prone skin.
- Oat extract: (Avena sativa kernel extract). With moisturizing, soothing, antiseptic, and antifungal action due to its high saponin content. It improves the course of the characteristic manifestations of acne by being calming.
- Chamomile extract: (Chamomilla recutita flower extract). Soothing, antimicrobial, and decongestant. With antioxidant action due to its flavonoid content.
- Mallow extract: (Malva sylvestris flower extract). It is moisturizing, emollient, soothing. It improves the skin barrier function due to its high mucilage content.

Exfoliant Serum AHA/BHA
IT'S FOR YOU IF...
Gentle exfoliant for all skin types: eliminates dead cells accumulated on the surface, unifies the skin's texture and provides luminosity. Improves the appearance of enlarged pores and unclogs them, preventing the formation of acne, comedones (or blackheads) and milia. Sebum-regulating and mattifying. Acts as an antimicrobial and decongestant (anti-inflammatory). Rebalances combination and oily skin: improves barrier function, preventing dehydration.
Contraindicated for those allergic to salicylic acid (aspirin).
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN AHA'S AND BHA'S
Alpha and beta hydroxy acids (AHA's and BHA's) are a family of acids of natural origin (they come from plants and fruits) widely used in cosmetics for their ability to exfoliate, renew and hydrate, which is why they improve the texture, luminosity and general appearance of the skin.
AHAs (glycolic, lactic, citric, malic, mandelic acids...) are soluble in water so they have moisturizing properties, provide luminosity, soften expression wrinkles and acne marks and/or blemishes. Among them, glycolic acid is the most powerful exfoliant (and the smallest, so it penetrates the skin more easily) and mandelic acid, being larger, penetrates more slowly so it is indicated for sensitive skin.
Unlike AHAs, BHAs are fat-soluble and have a great ability to penetrate pores and eliminate oil. The best known of all is salicylic acid, which comes from willow, (be careful, people allergic to aspirin should not use it). Salicylic acid is the ingredient that cannot be missing in the care of oily and acne-prone skin since it It prevents blackheads from forming, keeps the pore clean, is antibacterial and sebum-regulating.
