KEY INGREDIENTS
- Glycerin: It naturally causes water retention within the skin, which is also present inside the skin. It is the quintessential moisturizer, with the most efficacy studies. It maintains the lipids around the dermal cells in a healthy state (like in a glass), protecting them against irritation and restoring the skin's natural barrier. 5% Glycerin is the perfect amount, ideal for combination-oily skin.
- Ectoine: It is an incredible and very complete dermal protector. This multifunctional and highly researched active ingredient has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, pollution and light protection, moisturizing, barrier-repairing, and anti-aging properties.
- Isosorbide Dicaprylate: Modern moisturizing and barrier-regenerating molecule that works really well and in synergy with glycerin. It is known to upregulate Aquaporin-3, (which are the important water and glycerin channels in the epidermis).
- Bisabolol + Allantoin: two classic skincare ingredients, known for their soothing properties

MAIN FEATURES
Light and refreshing moisturizing cream with a cremi-gel texture that goes beyond the basics, as it not only hydrates, but also protects and soothes the skin. Formulated with a medium level of 5% Glycerin, which we reinforce with other moisturizing ingredients that work in synergy with Glycerin: A new generation molecule called Isosorbide Dicaprylate and a trio of sugars, whose trade name is Aquaxyl, that help transport and penetrate Glycerin through the epidermis (upregulated by Aquaporin-3) and strengthen the skin's protective barrier, stimulating the skin's own production of Ceramides.
The 1% ectoine in the formula hydrates and soothes the skin, while also protecting it from all types of environmental stresses, such as pollution, oxidative stress, blue light, and visible light. A good dose of two classic calming ingredients, allantoin and bisabolol, further enhance the soothing abilities of Hydration Station.
What makes the Hydration Station formula unique is also what it doesn't contain. Avoid three groups of super common ingredients found in almost all moisturizers: fatty alcohols, fatty acids, and silicones. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with these ingredients (and we use some of them in our other moisturizer, Happier Barrier), we know that there are some skin types that they don't suit and we know how difficult it is to find a good product without they. If you notice that most "regular" moisturizers give you acne, or if you have a skin problem related to the Malassezia fungus (Malassezia folliculitis, also known as fungal acne or seborrheic dermatitis), Hydration Station could be the formula for you.

We especially recommend it if you tend to generate acne with the usual moisturizers or if you have a skin problem related to the Malassezia fungus (Malassezia folliculitis, also known as fungal acne or seborrheic dermatitis).
