THE FORMULA
Power Peptides is formulated with four types of peptide technologies with clinically proven potent percentages, which work in synergy to firm the skin and restore its vitality.
- Contains 3% Matrixyl 3000 (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 together with Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7), one of the most scientifically tested peptide duos known for its ability to reduce wrinkles and achieve younger-looking skin. According to proven studies, applying 3% Matrixyl 3000 twice a day for 2 months will significantly reduce the depth and density of wrinkles, while improving the texture, elasticity and tone of the skin, also achieving a lifting effect.
- It also contains 2% Matrixyl Synthe'6 (Palmitoyl Tripeptide - 38), the new generation of Matrixyl technology, which increases the production of 6 main components of the skin matrix (Collagen I, III, IV, Fibronectin, Hyaluronic Acid and Laminin) resulting in more uniform skin with fewer wrinkles, especially on the forehead and eye contour area (crow's feet).
- The lesser known peptide with excellent high performance is TEGO® PEP 4-17 (Tetrapeptide-21), a peptide that stimulates the extracellular matrix, creating an extra reinforcing activity in the generation of Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid and Fibronectin. TEGO® PEP 4-17 has been clinically proven to work from 0.5%, and at Geek & Gorgeous we have injected a potent 4% concentration in Power Peptides (also used in the in vivo test with 60 people) to increase the elasticity and softness of the skin.
- The fourth peptide technology we include is an encapsulated copper peptide (Copper Palmitoyl Heptapeptide-14) called X50 Antiaging. Its main feature is that it uses an exclusive high-tech system, where the peptide is encapsulated in a biocompatible polymer shell and outside this shell there is another peptide (Heptapeptide-15 Palmitate).
- This technologically targeted peptide has a strong affinity for fibroblast receptors and guides the copper peptide to the right place in the skin, which is the collagen-producing fibroblast cell. Due to the advanced delivery system, X50 Antiaging is effective at very small levels, with the clinically proven and recommended amount being 0.001%, which is the amount we use in this serum.
