DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Instructions for use: Shake well before use. When using for the first time, press the spray 3 times to start it working. For babies and children up to 3 years old, it is recommended to take one spray daily. The content at the recommended dose is sufficient for 150 days. In case of greater needs, you can also dose 2 sprays per day. For adults, we recommend up to 3 sprays per day.
Valens D-natur is also suitable for adults. To maintain vitamin D levels (with normal sun exposure), 400 IU per day is sufficient, while during periods without sunlight (autumn, winter) it is recommended to take 800 IU or more.
For optimal effect, spray under the tongue or inside the cheek.
Conservation: Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of up to 25°C. Use within 6 months after opening.
Security: The Valens oral sprays are safe to use as they contain vitamin D3, a natural form of vitamin D derived from lanolin. The vitamin D3 content in the recommended daily doses is safe for consumption.
Consult your doctor about the dosage. Pediatricians usually recommend 400 IU of vitamin D per day, and more if necessary.
Warnings: Do not forget the importance of a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. A nutritional supplement does not replace a balanced and varied diet. The recommended daily amounts and dosage should not be exceeded. Keep out of reach of children. Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children should not consume vitamin D doses higher than the recommended daily intake.
FAQS
FAQS
Can we get enough vitamin D even without dietary supplements?
Vitamin D is the only vitamin, actually a hormone, that the body produces solely under the influence of UV rays. It is formed more actively from April to September around midday. In summer, when the sun is stronger and we spend more time outdoors, it is generally not necessary to take vitamin D supplements, unless you belong to the group of people for whom it is advised to take vitamin D supplements year-round (babies and children, pregnant women, the elderly, and people who completely avoid sun exposure). Additionally, it would also be good to know that
- Creams with a high protection factor inhibit the formation of vitamin D in our body.
- Vitamin D deficiency affects people worldwide, regardless of their age or geographic location (the highest proportion of people with vitamin D deficiency live in the Middle East, where, on the other hand, sunny weather predominates).
- People with darker skin need to be exposed to UV rays for a longer time than those with lighter skin to obtain a sufficient amount of vitamin D.
What is the source of vitamin D in your products?
Most oral sprays (and other products with vitamin D) contain the natural form of vitamin D3 derived from lanolin, a yellow waxy substance obtained from sheep's wool. This is an identical form to the one our body produces with the help of sunlight, and it has been shown to have excellent absorption. Especially for vegans, we have also developed the Valens D-Natural Vegan oral spray with plant-based vitamin D3 (algae).
Why does vitamin D deficiency occur?
Vitamin D deficiency is a health problem worldwide and also here. We especially encounter it in winter, when we are less exposed to the sun, and clothing and creams with UV protection have an additional effect of inhibiting vitamin D production. Furthermore, few foods contain the sun vitamin in a noteworthy amount. These are fatty fish, fish oil, liver, and egg yolk, and plant-based foods contain practically zero amounts of vitamin D. Lack of vitamin D has a detrimental effect on well-being and health, so an additional intake of the sun vitamin with nutritional supplements is recommended, especially for those who are not sufficiently exposed to sunlight.
Why is vitamin D important?
Vitamin D is a hormone that is synthesized in our skin with the help of sunlight, which is why it is also known as the sunshine vitamin. It contributes to the normal absorption of calcium in the body, thereby maintaining healthy bones and teeth. At the same time, it also contributes to the functioning of muscles and the immune system.
Can pregnant women also take products with vitamin D?
Yes, vitamin D is also essential for pregnant women. In fact, research shows that more than half of pregnant Slovenian women have insufficient levels of vitamin D. In one study conducted in Slovenia, 55% of the pregnant participants had low vitamin D levels. The lack of solar vitamin in pregnant women is a global problem, as evidenced by the results of other measurements. In America, 27 to 91% of pregnant women have vitamin D levels below the recommended value; in Asia, 45 to 100% of pregnant women; 19 to 96% in Europe; and 25 to 87% in Australia and New Zealand. Therefore, pregnant women should also ensure they get sufficient amounts of this important vitamin in time, especially in autumn and winter, when there is less sunlight. For pregnant women, we recommend the nutritional supplements Valens D-natur and Valens D-natur Vegan, as both are preservative-free and natural.

D-natur Oral Spray
Valens D-natur is a totally natural food supplement in the form of an oral spray, which allows easy and precise dosage and excellent absorption, which begins already in the oral cavity. The product contains a natural form of vitamin D3 from lanolin, identical to what our body synthesizes with the help of sunlight and whose excellent absorption has been demonstrated. Valens D-natur contains 400 IU of vitamin D3 in one spray. Valens D-natur thus contains "vitamin D for babies" in a dose that pediatricians also recommend for them. The product does not contain preservatives, sweeteners or aromas, so its consumption in babies does not cause spasms or colic.
Easy dosage
Valens D-natur is an excellent alternative not only to capsules and tablets, but also to uncomfortable drops that are difficult to count and measure accurately. The product is simply sprayed into the child's mouth and thus provides the optimal amount of vitamin D3. Advice for nursing mothers: Vitamin D for babies or its content can also be sprayed on the breast, just before the start of breastfeeding, or mixed into a prepared drink.
Clinically proven efficacy
Valens oral sprays with vitamin D are manufactured in Slovenia according to the highest quality standards (the company has a GMP certificate). Each production batch is tested periodically with the help of external institutions, and its effectiveness has also been proven by a clinical study. This demonstrated that the consumption of Valens oral sprays with vitamin D3 contributes to increasing the concentration of vitamin D in the blood. Valens oral sprays are therefore the only Slovenian dietary supplements with vitamin D that have their own clinical study.
Why do we need vitamin D?
Vitamin D is a hormone produced by the human body when exposed to a sufficient amount of sunlight. It is one of the essential vitamins that our body absolutely needs for its normal functioning. It is necessary for the normal functioning of the immune system and is also involved in maintaining healthy bones and teeth. Research shows that up to 80% of Slovenians do not have a sufficient intake of vitamin D. Vitamin D supplementation is recommended for those who do not have enough exposure to sunlight, especially in winter, when exposure is lower than in other seasons. . Adding vitamin D is especially important for babies and children during the growth period or in early childhood.
