HOW TO USE

This product can be used to neutralize redness and even out skin tone, while reducing pigmentation. For maximum benefit, this product should be used daily throughout the year.
Gently massage onto the face and spread the product over the neck and décolleté until an even skin tone is achieved. Can be used as a base. Repeat the process if necessary to obtain a more intense color. Reapply throughout the day if necessary, especially after drying, sweating, or swimming. That way, you will maintain optimal protection.

Do I have to reapply every few hours?

What you need to know: An SPF 50 sunscreen, if you use it in the morning in sufficient amounts (say half a teaspoon for your face and neck) and just go about your daily life, at the office, outside the store, will provide you with adequate protection all day. Anyway, according to the official recommendation of the FDA (the U.S. Food and Drug Administration), it is advisable to reapply sunscreen every two hours if you are constantly in the sun; this is what we recommend.

So, would it be suitable for sensitive skin or rosacea?

We can't say yes 100%, but we do give you a big yes, since everyone's skin is different, and some people are allergic to one ingredient or another in particular. However, this formula has been specifically developed for this type of skin, so it is very likely to work for you. If you have rosacea and your skin tone is not particularly light, you will want to use this formula as it contains plant extracts that help reduce skin sensitivity and cover imperfections like an invisible concealer with a unique mint color. If you have a very light or porcelain tone, the product is likely not suitable or may seem dark to you.

I have problematic skin (often with acne and oiliness), can I use it as well?

Yes, you can use it :) The Altruist Dermatologist Anti-Redness and Pigmentation SPF50 sunscreen is a lightweight and creamy sunscreen that does not feel heavy, is not sticky, and does not clog pores. Its soothing and anti-redness ingredients will specifically help reduce inflammation and eliminate PIE (post-inflammatory erythema, reddish flat spots) and PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, darker brown spots) left after acne as soon as possible (i.e., red and brown spots after acne).

My skin is dry. Could it be suitable for me?

Yes, it can be a great choice, the formula pleasantly hydrates with ingredients such as panthenol, glycerin, or hydrolyzed mushroom extract.

I have fair skin. Isn't it suitable for me?

If you have one of the more porcelain skin tones, it is very likely that you will find this product too dark for your skin tone. Based on our own experience, we can say that after about 20-30 minutes, it somehow starts to blend into the skin and loses its darker color, but not its coverage, and it becomes elegantly satin with a powder finish, but it does not remain porcelain toned. If you're in the mood to experiment, you can try it comfortably, but we mainly recommend it for medium to darker skin tones.
