Skintegra Una is a neutral universal cream, suitable for dried skin to very dry, squamous, sensitive and atopic, both for children and adults. It is rich in soft emollients (triglycerides and fatty acids that simulate the natural lipid barrier of our skin), precursors of Ceramid Canola oil containing omega 3 fatty acids and omega 6 balancing.
Una has undergone in vivo tests, under the supervision of a dermatologist, in individuals with a history of allergies and diagnosed atopic dermatitis.
In skins with atopic dermatitis (as in the skin affected by psoriasis), the hydrolyzic barrier that must preserve the integrity of the skin is significantly compromised and causes the surface of the skin to dry, become squamous and prone to infections. The ceramids, which are the lipids that a healthy skin produces naturally, are an extremely important component of the hydrolyzic barrier and patients with atopy have a great deficit of this natural lubricant for the skin.
Una contains sphingolipids and phospholipids that generate biologically active and significant ceramides, the sphinxin (which regulates the microbiome of the skin, often compromised in case of atopic dermatitis) and intercellular communicators. In this way the skin with the damaged hydrolypic barrier fulfills its natural protection function again.
In addition to the precursors of Ceramida, the second important ingredient is the carboxymethyl beta glucan immunomodulator (Betaglucano cm). This is a polysaccharide that fulfills multiple functions in topical applications:

• Regenerates the cells responsible for collagen production,
• promotes adequate immune functioning of skin cells,
• It has antioxidant effects and it has been proven that it repairs cell damage caused by UVA radiation,
• In the detergent challenge tests, it presents a significant protection of the hydrolyzing barrier,
• It stimulates wound healing by causing reepithelization, mobilization of macrophages (leukocytes) and collagen deposition in the place where the skin is damaged.

Betaglucano in our universal neutral cream (pH 5,5) is combined with a trio of soothing ingredients, composed of betaine, panthenol and great -grandolol, which reduce inflammatory processes and rapeseed oil, which is a natural source of essential fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6 and Vitamin E.
Una has been subjected to heavy metal tests, including nickel. It is suitable for the local application in the skin of children over 4 months.
Una is formulated without the addition of parabens, perfumes, alcohol, synthetic dyes, or other irritants and is packaged in a air-less hygienic container. In the case of extremely dry skin, it must be combined with a more nutritious product, such as our nard.
