Our founder, Michelle Doherty - celebration of a legacy

Michelle Doherty suffered chronic acne from adolescence to 20 years. He tried everything: aggressive treatments, former abrasive and strong medications. Nothing worked.

Michelle needed a radical change. And your skin too. That restart came in the form of glycolic acid, a powerful ingredient that helped its skin finding balance, clarity and resistance.

Many questioned the use that Michelle made of this unknown acid, warning that it was "too hard, too aggressive, too irritating." But the skeptics did not deter it. Michelle combined this little known acid with a non -foaming and unchanging cleaner - the balancing Cleanser that we know and worship today - that he re -requilibrated the pH of his skin and completely revitalized his complexion. He had found the best solution for his skin. From that moment on, Michelle committed to transformative skin care.

The spectacular results that glycolic acid gave Michelle changed his life. Not only in his skin, but also in his trust and self -esteem. Amazed by her own experience, she began working in a range of products that incorporated this innovative ingredient. He soon developed a night rejuvenation treatment that was not based solely on glycolic acid for its efficacy, but combined the powerful 5% acid concentration with a unique low pH of 2.8-3.0 so that the skin felt Firmer and more resistant, as if he had undergone a "serious training." Our conscious formulas

We are passionate to support local producers and suppliers, so our priority is to formulate our products with local ingredients whenever possible. Although many of the Alpha-H ingredients come from sustainable suppliers certified by the RSPO, we are working to formulate exclusively with sustainable sources, so that we can continue minimizing our impact on the environment, ecosystems and communities, while defending sustainable sources of native ingredients.

Our containers

Between 30% and 35% of our tubes and bottles are made of recycled materials. Thanks to new technologies, more than a third of the post -consumption recycled resin (PCR resin) can be used in containers without compromising product integrity. In addition, tubes, bottles and alpha-H cardboard containers are 100% recyclable.

We choose Post -consumption recycled materials (PCR) as long as it is possible and we try that almost everything we send is recyclable. However, packaging is a complex issue and we are the first to admit that there is no perfect solution. There are pros and cons in the glass (heavy for shipping, great to recycle) and in plastic (light for shipping, it can be recycled), so we use a mixture of both, and we are always working to innovate and improve, offering our clients and the planet the most sustainable versions of ourselves.
