Liquid Happiness - Face & Eye Serum with Retinal 0.3%

KEY INGREDIENTS

• Retinal 0.3%: retinaldehyde - a highly active ingredient. It is the last form of vitamin A before conversion into retinoic acid, which is its only active form. All others must undergo a series of conversions. One conversion allows for faster and more effective action for skin care, without causing increased irritation potential. This ingredient stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastin, improving skin firmness and elasticity. It stimulates the division of skin cells, increasing skin thickness. Additionally, it inhibits the activity of melanocytes and sebaceous glands, thereby reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation and the formation of pimples. It also accelerates exfoliation, lightening existing discoloration and evening out the skin surface.
• Squalene: lipid - equivalent to human squalene, which is a natural component of sebum. It is distinguished by a wide range of applications, that is, protection against excessive evaporation of water from the epidermis, reconstruction of the lipid barrier, improvement of hydration levels, increase in elasticity, regulation of sebaceous gland activity, anti-inflammatory effect, smoothing and softening of the epidermis, acceleration of regeneration.
• Isoamyl Laurate: dry emollient - non-comedogenic, reduces the viscosity of oils and provides softness and silky smoothness to the skin.
• Watermelon seed oil: Lipid - very light oil, non-comedogenic. Softens, smooths, acts as an antioxidant, and maintains proper moisture levels in the epidermis. It is also rich in fatty acids: palmitic, stearic, oleic, and linoleic.
• Vitamin E: known as the youth vitamin. Firstly, it has antioxidant properties, which help reduce free radicals, thereby slowing down the aging process. Additionally, it deeply hydrates and accelerates regenerative processes.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Retinal at 0.3% is no longer something to take lightly. It is recommended to use the product only in autumn, winter, and early spring. Ideally, the product should not be your first experience with retinoid cosmetics. You will see the first positive results after about 5 weeks, and significant results after about 12 weeks. The key to achieving visible results is regularity and consistency in application. You can use the serum in many ways, but always as part of your nighttime skincare routine.
Before the first application, perform a sensitivity test.
First application: Apply the product to the clean, toned, and dry face and under the eyes, previously adding a drop to your cream or oily serum. Do not apply the serum directly to the skin.
Other applications:
Cleanse, tone, and dry the facial skin.
Method 1: If the first application caused mild peeling and/or sensitivity, start with 1-2 applications per week and only then gradually increase the frequency up to 5 uses per week. Continue diluting the serum in another product.
Method 2: If you have experience with retinoids, you can apply the product alone. Start with 1-2 applications per week and gradually increase the frequency up to 5 uses per week. Then, guide yourself by the observations you make of your skin, that is, any dryness, mild irritation, or peeling that appears.
Note: if after the first uses, each subsequent application causes exfoliation, then reduce the frequency and/or mix the serum into a cream or another oily serum or pure oil.

SAFETY

• Do not use the product on vascular, allergic, irritated, burned skin (including sunburns), mechanically damaged skin, or skin with active eczema.
• Do not use the product on wet skin.
• Use sunscreen with high SPF50 protection.
• In case of severe irritation, discontinue use and consult a doctor or contact us.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• No combine with products containing acids, vitamin C, vitamin A, their derivatives, and with a pH of ⩽3 and ⩾8 or consult with us about the safety of use.
