Si‑Nails MicoXpert MD of ISDIN is a patented medical device for the treatment and prevention of mild to moderate onychomycosis in fingernails and toenails. Its unique formula combines an aqueous solution with cationic hyaluronic acid, mastic resin (Pistacia lentiscus), Biosaccharide Gum‑2, acrylates copolymer and piroctone olamineThis synergy forms a protective film that creates an adverse environment for fungi (dermatophytes, candida, molds), inhibiting their adhesion and growth.
El cationic hyaluronic acid provides deep hydration to nails and cuticles, reducing their fragility, while the mastic resin generates a continuous protective barrier. Biosaccharide Gum‑2 It interferes with microbial attachment, reducing the adhesion of pathogens. El acrylates copolymer reinforces this barrier with water resistance. Additionally, the piroctone olamine provides direct antifungal action, accelerating the eradication of the fungus.
Clinically, its use for at least 3 months—and up to 12 months depending on nail growth—visibly improves appearance, reduces yellowish color, and protects adjacent nails.No prior filing is required, and it is easily applied with its click-pen type applicator. Two daily applications (morning and night) after pressing the reservoir 30 times to start the flow prevent interference with the daily routine and allow optimal adherence.
Suitable for topical use in adults and children over 3 years old (no data for younger children), it is dermatologically tested and approved as a medical device.
