Los efectos del retinol son una pasada, pero lee atentamente. Si tienes dudas sobre cómo empezar con el retinol, consulta con nuestros expertos para resolverlas y acertar a la primera sin comprometer tu piel. ¿Cómo empezar a incluir aceite de retinol en mi rutina? Te contamos:
Si vas a empezar desde cero, asegúrate de empezar con él sólo en tu rutina de noche. Aplícalo sobre la piel en el paso casi final de tu rutina, antes de la hidratante. ¿Piel sensible? Aplica un sérum que refuerce la función barrera de la piel y que hidrate en profundidad antes de esta crema con retinol de COSRX, como The Hyaluronic Acid 3 Serum, rico en ceramidas. Aplica siempre evitando el contorno de los ojos y la boca.
La piel pasa por un proceso de habituarse al retinol llamado retinización. En este proceso puedes sentir un poco de sequedad, tirantez, descamación... es algo muy normal, y es la razón por la que te aconsejamos que empieces a utilizarlo al principio solo de noche, poco a poco, y contando con un paso previo que refuerce la función barrera sobre tu piel.
Recuerda:
- Comienza usándolo un único día a la semana. Será suficiente si nunca lo has utilizado y tu piel no está acostumbrada a él.
- Siempre, siempre tendrás que aplicar protector SPF50+ a la mañana siguiente. No es negociable.
- No combines exfoliación, ácidos o peelings con retinol ni en la misma rutina ni durante las primeras semanas en las que lo estés introduciendo. Si eres principiante, tu piel te lo agradecerá.
